Why Tezuka and Oishi ? Well, why not ? They have one of the oldest friendship in the series. Plus, Oishi seems to be the only person that Tezuka can consult with. ^^ They've been friends since their first year. Tezuka was targeted by their seniors because Tezuka upstaged them. Angry, one of the seniors slammed a racket onto Tezuka's arm. Tezuka's arm now needs treatments. Oishi's uncle is Tezuka's doctor. Oishi frequently accompanies Tezuka as he goes for his check ups.

I don't know if it's appropriate, ^^; but if Oishi is known as the Mama of Seigaku, then the strict Tezuka is the Papa of Seigaku. Mama Oishi is the gentle one while Tezuka whips the team into shape.

While Tezuka was in Germany for his treatment, Oishi was the one who conveys his messages and support to the team. Be it by email or sms.

...On an interesting yaoi note, there was a time when Tezuka emailed Oishi and the next day Oishi printed out the letter. Oishi read Tezuka's message to the team.. but wait! Tezuka's message was a measly 2 short lines. I don't see the point of printing an email that short unless, UNLESS, there was another (private) message as well. :P
